At one point Michael was angry at one of the producers on the project because he was treating everyone terribly. Rather than create a scene or fire the guy, Michael called him to his office/lounge and one of the security guys threw a pie in his face. No further action was needed . . . . .

He was a huge fan of Nine Inch Nails Downward Spiral . . . .

That is so unexpected! Hehe. Those were great stories, just showed how wonderful Michael is! :)

that is a great thread, such interesting stories. I can only imagine what it must have been like. Thanks cross posting it.

This was a very nice thing to share! thanks! :)

I think we should dwell on the magic Michael gave us in life rather thank the tragedy of his death...

I'm always reading or watching funny clips of him to make me smile but its annoying after awhile when everyone constantly bashes or talks about what happened to him, its like please stop reminding me every 2 minutes, i just want to be happy about him, not sad like i have been, still hurts alot, waking up and feeling that pain...

What a great find, thanks for posting. We all know he was a musical genius, but its nice to hear technical people that talk about his genius on another level.

This bit struck home for me though:

"Once, while we were taking a break, I think we were actually watching the OJ chase on TV, there was a news program talking about him being in Europe with some little boy. I was sitting next to the guy while the news is making this crap up. He just looked at me and said this is what I have to deal with."

Poor Michael, people were always trying to bring him down and they won in the end. I don't like to wish bad stuff on people, but I do want all the people that lied and hurt MJ to suffer. :(

This is such an interesting thread to read. I've not gotten through it all but what really strikes me is the difference between what people are saying about him on TV and what the guys who actually worked with him are saying. Amazing that he never lost his temper. Wish I had that kind of self control

He probably did lose him temper just behind his own house or he just kept it inside. I do know I'm nice BUT I do know fake people and thats when I truly wont be the sweetest. I have the worst temper and know for a fact that i couldnt handle being in the spotlight like that *frustrated*

Well, if you go to the first post and follow the link you'll find pages and pages of stories about him at the recording studio from the guys who recorded him. Seems he simply never missed a note and never lost his temper. Truly amazing. I've been known to blow a gasket from time to time. I hate it though. Interesting that he liked to sing the song Black Dog. Now there's a blast from the past.

He was rarely mean, I could tell that. If he was mean to anyone, he was mean to himself. I've also been known to blow at times, I'm easily annoyed

We all have our ways of showing anger and frustration.
I'm sure MJ lost his temper like anyone else, but
i dont think he showed it.

I remember a story i read in a Janet Jackson book when
Mj got angry at janet for steeling one dance move he showed her.
This was back in 1986 or somethin when both was living
in encino and janets career just hit off. She used the
dance move on one of her videos without asking him.

He got so angry he didnt speak to her for a month,
and just ignored her when he saw her home.

So, i figure that his way of showing his anger.

Also, the way he fired Quince Jones, branca, and frank dileo
shows that MJ didnt like confrontations.

mmm..... I heard he was King of the Cold Shoulder as well.

I have to admit he looks pretty ticked off in this one. He's giving someone a pretty disgusted, what the hell I'm not an ice dancer look at 46 seconds in. at 1:55 he gives another little test then it looks like he's thinking of doing the kick thing for a second but decides he'd better not.

Oh I know. The first time I watched that video where the stage is slippery, I thought "Man! Michael looks mad!" I'm sure he had a temper, eveyone does. But that video does make me smile how he ends up working with it, and sliding around.
