How is everyone holding up?

Not sure whether it's the post-Janet-interview-and-AMA's let-down, after all the anticipation, but I find the last couple of days have been especially tough.

I've bought all the music and listened to it ad nauseum. I've read all the books, seen all the utube clips repeatedly... cried enough to float a battleship. It's a feeling like "summer's come and gone, the movie has come and gone, Janet's interview has come and gone, the AMA's have come and gone... is Michael 'come and gone' too?"... and omg, I don't want him to be gone.

I keep thinking "ok now, get a hold of yourself, you have to get over this"... but no matter what diversion I try, the skies are just a little grayer... the world is just a little duller... anyone else's music is just irritating noise. I miss him more than I could have ever imagined. I have this feeling that I...we...we all, the world, had one magical time to grab the brass ring - but we missed it, and now it's over, gone... forever.

Sorry, just feeling pretty blue about it all...

I'm still not holding up the greatest....I wish I could get over this but its not going to happen. you dont have to get over anything, you love michael, you cant just get over someone you love......the word closure should not even exist in the dictionary.

for a brief moment in time we had an angel who had no wings walk among us then we blinked he was gone, i understand the pain you are in i will always feel michael with me and he is with you in a place safe from ridicule in your heart when you love someone they are never far from you *hug*

Honestly it hits me again every once in a while. I've said it before, but even when he was alive, it's not like I saw him and talked to him everyday or anything, so know it is kinda the same. I just always thought in the back of my head "Oh, he's off in California or something with his kids or recording new music" but now I start to think that, and I have to stop myself because I realize he isn't doing that anymore. And really scares me when i think "He is literally not on this Earth anymore". I try not to think about that though. I try to think positive, that he is in a better place now.

Anyway, i guess I'm holding up okay, sometimes I just get "down" and the kids at school are like "you okay" and i say yea, but i'm not really.

Well, I have to admit - I feel it too, after each thing there's this big THE END.... fade to black... and it feels like it shouldn't be that way. This ending SUCKS! the hero's not supposed to die. I want a re-write, but I can't have one. It makes me mad and sad. Why can't someone be a superstar and a good hearted person AND have the happily ever after? Why does it have to be like this? It sucks and I hate it and I hate that big The End part even though it has to come for everyone.

ive had a weird few days...been watching MJ tour dvds (nothing new there) But ive found myself crying at songs i dont usually cry at... Man In The Mirror and Will You Be There gets me everytime but Heal The World and They Don't Care About Us and Human Nature have really got to me...i have no idea why ?! *cry*

I know what you mean Brandi!! The song that has been getting me (more than usual, that is) is Earth Song. I love all his "message songs", but I think his passion really showed in that one... and now I find it heartbreaking.

been feeling extremely sad for MJ these past few days (more than usual) My friend took her daughter to the O2 Arena to see Miley Cyrus and she sent me a pic from where they were sitting...it was the same area we were going to be sitting in to see MJ.... i can't get it out of my head

Not doing so good today.

I haven't cried, but I've been close a few times.

I got some new dvds for Christmas, so I was watching one today. I am amazed at how adorable one man can be! I would start to giggle at how wonderful he is! After the "movie" was over, I felt very sad, and sort of "empty," I don't really know how to describe it. He was so wonderful, and now he's not here, and it just makes me feel...well, it makes me feel not good. :cry:
